Thanksgiving Game idea
Thanksgiving is almost here and I sure am swamped. Two interviews today, a study guide to complete, projects to work on, and girls to chase, what is a man to do! The snow is melting and Provo is warming up thanks to the ever-present nature of the sun here in Provo. I heard of a great thanksgiving game to add to pin the feather on the turkey and the traditional Squanto movie. To avoid copyright I have named in Thanks in Five. The way you play is first to choose Five categories people would traditionally find blessings in. Then you receive five squares per category and you write down the five blessings for each category within 90 seconds. Each person goes around and reads the blessings they put down, and if someone else wrote that same blessing, then they cross it off. Those who have the most unique blessings on their grid after everyone has shared the blessings is the winner. Fun game, I think so, and it provides a good way to reflect on our many blessings. We are a very blessed people.
